"Shirley and Spinoza is a humble little, lilac scented, diesel powered web radio stream - relaying bouncing, broken mixed up radio waves from your planet. "s&S has mostly been a one man operation run by FC for the last years - meaning essentially that as of summer 2006, as the stream pilot has again relocated from Oakland to the relatively remote, Central Asian lands of Xinjiang (northwestern China), so has stream control and influence - for the time being. With a far reaching remote tentacle control though, there's still lots of delicate ear fondling yet to be done. "FC is a sound designer, noise wrangler, field recordist and arty guy by day; moonwalking, jive talkin 16th century conquistador by night. For now, he likes to privately play 'Dodge the Disembodied Goat Head' along the streets of his new home town, Urumqi, PRC. Fun game...and HEY... sorta Halloweeny, right? He also apparently seems to enjoy talking about himself in the 3rd person. "This track was a sample bit of character introduction for a musical narrative that never quite happened some years back."
